All Matters is the final part to the Raw Matters Trilogy by United Snakes. Previous parts of the trilogy, performed at URB festival, have dealt with the history of street dance (Raw Matters part 1, URB 04) and personal memories related to dance (Personal Matters, URB 08). The third and final part is a shift from personal to global. The elements of the performance include statistics, breakdance, documentary videos of Moscow, Helsinki and Chechnya, Lappeenranta rap and 70s disco dance. The 1. version performed at URB10 was a demo – albeit a quite developed and long (48 minutes) – of the upcoming full production, scheduled for premiere in 2011. |
